We had an exciting time cheering for the Jayhawks basketball team these last couple of weeks. Sadly, they came in second. But they still did great! I married into a a sports loving family and am slowly learning to like it, but Claire and Matthew are being integrated from the very beginning. Their Daddy even let them stay up 40 minutes late to watch the last game of the tournament. they felt so big.
I'm trying to find crafts that don't cost too much but that all of them can participate in. One of our crafts this month was gluing on coffee beans to their names. It went really well and they each liked tasting the beans too.

PopPop and Nana came for a visit this past month. The kiddos had a great time being spoiled. I love the boys' faces in this picture.

And these are my two big boys on Sunday morning before church. Everyone says they look just alike, but I should put a couple of side by side pictures up to show how much more Micah looks like Claire. Micah and Claire are mixes of both Ernst and Chadbourn. Whereas Matthew is completely his Daddy's boy!

We found out this past week that we are having a baby girl! All of us went to the sonogram appointment and Claire and Matthew waited with baited breath to find out. Matthew was sure that it was going to be a little boy and he was going to name him Mark. However, the minute the technician said something about it being a girl he said, "Oh a girl, yeah, I like girls too. I want it to be a girl now. " Haha! That just shows his go with the flow personality. Claire was super excited. She was jumping up and down and making big plans for the baby's outfits right there in the room. Micah didn't really know what was going on. He was slightly annoyed with the technician for putting something weird on Mommy's belly.
We still don't have a girl name. This one is going to be a little more difficult. It seems like they get more difficult each time. But we do have a list and we could always wait until after she is born to see what she looks like.
My blue eyed and extremely extroverted little Micah is going to turn 2 April 21. Is that really possible? He so energetic and full of spunk, but he's definitely got his sweet moments too. Just this morning he was crashing his little cars on the floor and a few minutes later he was singing "winkle, winkle, wittle tar" to Claire's baby doll. He's been full of hugs and kisses lately and loves to run into our room in the morning to wake us up with lots of love.
MINISTRY UPDATE:
We are going to be in Illinois April 22 and 29 for candidating at a church with RHMA (our mission organizaion). We are super excited about the area and the little church and would love everyone's prayers for us as we look for God's guidance.
